Rubber Band Gun – Pistol
Test your shooting skills!
This rubber band gun can hold up to 6 – 7 rubber bands comfortable but could hold up to 10. I based the design off a regular pistol but just added my own twist. Probably one of the greatest things to print is a projectile tool and I have had fun shooting plastic bottles and other random targets.
You might want to replace the spring with a metal one but other than that it works very nice.
Print level: Intermediate
Infill Level: %
Model originally printed on: Zortrax M200
Recommended print settings:
You can print with light or heavy infill.
(I printed with light infill to save filament)
Layer height 0.1 to 0.3
(I printed with 0.19 to quicken print time)
Use raft and supports for gun and trigger.
(everything else doesn't need support)
Printing the gun can be a bit tricky.
I printed it upside down but there was a lot of support.
My recommendation would be to split the gun in half and face the split section onto print bed then glue them together.
That way the details on the outside of the gun will be better.
Or you might find a better way.
